Step 5: Get feedback from customers
Last but not least, to get feedback from customers is more valuable than we think. This information can help you identify areas for improvement and make changes accordingly. Most importantly, your customers will share with you the things they love most about your company so that when future changes are made you don’t disrupt the very thing that keeps them coming back. Consider using surveys, focus groups, or social media to gather feedback. While these are great tools one of the most valuable tools any company can have are your reviews on sites like Google, Yelp, and others. I can tell you that I personally will not do business with or utilize a business that has a Google review that is less than 4 out of 5 stars. These reviews can make or break your business. Therefore, reading them and responding appropriately is vital. Just as important is encouraging your current customers and clients to go to these sites to leave a review. If you receive a poor review be sure to offer to solve the issue in that same forum. If you don’t address it potential customers will likely see this as an issue you’re not willing to resolve and choose to go to your competitors.
So there you have it, folks. The five-step towards growing your business is
Evaluating where you currently stand.
Analyzing your financials.
Evaluating your marketing strategy.
Assess your team, and
Gather feedback from customers.
By following these steps you'll be well on your way to success. Stay tuned for the next post in our series, where we'll be discussing Step Two: Set Company Goals that are S.M.A.R.T.
Until then, happy evaluating!
